My name is María, although I like to sign my work with the pseudonym Polilla, I was born in the city of Rosario in 1990. I am the daughter of truck drivers and a lover of the roads, I spent my early childhood traveling, reading and drawing. Now the driving force of my life is drawing. Before embarking on this trip, I experienced many changes and was lost in the natural sciences, of which I keep beautiful
memories in my backpack.
Today I am an illustrator, I live in Santa Clara del Mar, Argentina; and I have the habit of being able to draw anywhere.
My essential tools are my watercolors, my sketchbook and my pencils. They always go with me everywhere and wherever the desire arises I start to draw.
I like to represent nature, the ephemeral and the delicate, as synonymous with strength and beauty. I obsess over small details and I believe that they are what emphasize the message that I want to communicate with each illustration. My professional interests as an illustrator are focused on editorial illustration, more
specifically in the illustration of books and albums for both adults and children.

Mi nombre es María, aunque me gusta firmar mis trabajos con el seudónimo Polilla, nací en la ciudad de Rosario en 1990. Soy hija de camioneros y amante de las carreteras, pasé mi primera infancia viajando, leyendo y dibujo. Ahora la fuerza motriz de mi vida es el dibujo. Antes de emprender este viaje viví muchos cambios y me perdí en las ciencias naturales, de las cuales guardo hermosasRecuerdos en mi mochila.Hoy soy ilustradora, vivo en Santa Clara del Mar, Argentina; y tengo la costumbre de poder dibujar en cualquier lugar.Mis herramientas esenciales son mis acuarelas, mi cuaderno de bocetos y mis lápices. Siempre me acompañan a todas partes y donde me surge el deseo me pongo a dibujar.Me gusta representar la naturaleza, lo efímero y lo delicado, como sinónimo de fuerza y belleza. Me obsesiono con los pequeños detalles y creo que son los que enfatizan el mensaje que quiero comunicar con cada ilustración. Mis intereses profesionales como ilustrador se centran en la ilustración editorial, másconcretamente en la ilustración de libros y álbumes tanto para adultos como para niños.
